Updated Northern Lights Bookmark

The first piece of the new year! This one is a commission for a dear friend who wanted to replace an old original bookmark I made her when I was younger. Comparing it to the other Northern Lights Bookmark I made I can definitely see improvement in my control of my paints. Watercolor on 300lb coldpress watercolor paper, January 2025

Lasagna Hot Tub

For the February Color in Focus: Red. This was an idea I had back in August when I was doing the sweetheart trio. My Capabarista has a daughter and I wanted to make something for her as well and it finally lined up with the color of the month! One of her favorite foods is lasagna and one of her favorite animals are tigers. Capybaras and tigers are both known for enjoying a soak so I put them in a lasagna hot tub! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, February 2025

Sleepy Latte

This is a little drawing for a friend of their fursona: a raccoon with the colors of a latte! Someone mentioned dunking them in coffee and I thought of them lounging in the warm coffee. Digital, March 2025

Crickets are Trans Allies

For the March 2025 color of the month Light Cerulean. Another bug buddy for my Bugnanza sticker set! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, March 2025

Sweetness Potion

For the March 2025 color of the month Light Cerulean. A sweet little potion destined to be the sticker club sticker for May! This one is honor of my boyfriend and I's anniversary coming up in May. Forget-Me-Not Stamp

For the March 2025 color of the month Light Cerulean. Another stamp for the Alaska collection. Forget-me-nots are the Alaska state flower and often end up growing in a heart shape naturally which is just too perfect for a heart shaped stamp! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, March 2025

Lovebirds

For the April 2025 color in focus: Magenta. This color was so nice for a little heart and I thought having two lovebirds kissing with their face colors forming the heart would just be too cute! Watercolor on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, April 2025

Fuchsia Flowers

For the April 2025 color in focus: Magenta. Fuchsia colors fit this color so well and I was able to find a reference photo to really challenge myself with featuring both a bokeh light background (something I'd never tried to paint before) and water droplets (something I find perplexing to paint). Watercolor on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, April 2025

Tea Matto

Another one of my streamer friends DearMatto saw the latte art I did for my friend Sleepy and said he wanted one feature a cup of tea and I was happy to oblige! Digital, May 2025

Giant Emerald Pill Millipede

For the May 2025 color in focus: Salish Sea. I ran into this bug by chance which happened to be serendipitous since it matched this month's CIF color so well! This will be added to the Bugnanza sticker packs! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, May 2025

Dino Crunch Ice Cream

For the May 2025 color in focus: Salish Sea. The color for this month reminded me of an ice cream I used to eat with my mom when I was little. It was bright teal and dinosaur branded. I remember it as having dinosaur shaped chocolate bits in it, but that may just be memory. Watercolor on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, May 2025

Otter Bubbles

For the May/June color in focus: Salish Sea. This color was such a great one for underwater and I had the perfect photo to use it for. This is a photo of a river otter I took at the Alaska Zoo and has always been one of my favorites. It was fun to transfer it to a new medium! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, June 2025

Forest Hot Chocolate

For Art Fight 2025: Forest Hot Chocolate. Another one for my friend SleepyProcyon. They made another version of their main sona with different coloring named Birch and I took the opportunity to attack that character too! Ink and watercolor, 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, July 2025

The Birthday Soup

For Art Fight 2025: The Birthday Soup. A little drawing I whipped up for Sleepy to use on their birthday stream graphics! It counted as an attack too! Digital, July 2025

Sweet Little Tea Party

For Art Fight 2025: Sweet Little Tea Party. This is a mass attack on ten different pokemon OCs, all based at least a little around some kind of sweet treat or tea! The first commissions I ever did were of pokemon so it was nice to get back to that. Digital, July 2025

Moist Eggplant

For the July 2025 color: Permanent Violet. This was such a good color for an eggplant and a good excuse to work on more water droplets, which I still find difficult. I think this one will be a fun companion sticker and emote to my pickle done in a previous month. Watercolor, 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, July 2025

Prickly Phone Call

For Art Fight 2025: Prickly Phone Call. This is my friend Rainb0wSheep's character Shirley Sprout, who is the official secretary of stream. We had discussed Shirley's plant aspects turning into a cactus when she gets annoyed. There are four other characters as desk buddies here too! Digital, July 2025

Chaos

For Art Fight 2025: Chaos. This is a friend RoboToast's character Frumpty Flowers - a little frog jester who uses balloons to communicate! Digital, July 2025

Horned Lark

For the August 2025 Color in Focus: Butter. Another addition to my Alaska Stamp collection! This time a very rotund horned lark. Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, August 2025

Pale Tussock Caterpillar

For the August 2025 Color in Focus: Butter. A bug for my Bugnanza Sticker Collection! The pale tussock caterpillar has a very striking series of tufts on its back that are very reminiscent of a mohawk so I decided to make this one punk - with a little vest and doc martins! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, August 2025

Booklouse

For the August 2025 Color in Focus: Butter. Joining my Bugnanza sticker pack project is the booklouse! So named because they feed on the binding glue, but this one prefers to read, rather than eat, the books. Ink and watercolor on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, August 2025

Raspberry

This was a piece done as part of an art collab with my friend SleepyProcyon! We both painted an image off of the same reference of a raspberry. Watercolor on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, August 2025

A small selection of rainforest leaves to use as a background for a product idea I'm putting together. Watercolor on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, August 2025

Holding Hands

A re-mix of the paleolothic hand art I did last August. This time in a size to use as a background on a product I'm working on behind the scenes. I learned a lot doing this the first time which let me make this version clearer and much closer to my original vision. Watercolor and gouache on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, August 2025

Crystal Boba

A sticker design I've had cooking in the back of my mind for a while. The three boba flavors are based off of what me, my boyfriend, and his daughter tend to order. Ink and watercolor on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper.

Banana Slug

For the September 2025 Color in Focus: Rich Green Gold. Such a great color as a base for all these bugs! I had to get one of my personal faves the banana of the pacific northwest in here! Love a banana slug! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, September 2025

Bagworm Buga Yaga

For the September 2025 Color in Focus: Rich Green Gold. Bagworms are known for their unique style of collecting cocoon materials which end up looking like a little stacked log cabin on their back - very reminiscent of a Baba Yaga house but with bug legs instead of chicken legs! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, September 2025

Giant Walkingstick (Get Stickbugged)

For the September 2025 Color in Focus: Rich Green Gold. You ever been rizzed by a stickbug? Would you like to? Stickbugs do a fun little wiggle dance to look like plants waving in the breeze and it really looks like they're doing a little ragtime dance! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, September 2025

Bootyful Ghost

A little design for my October sticker club! Gotta do something really silly every once and a while! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, September 2025

For the September 2025 Color in Focus: Rich Green Gold. A cicada that's really embarrassed you caught him while he was changing! Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, September 2025

Save Me Pharmaceuticals

Another mildly silly sticker design. I have some chronic health issues and so do many of my friends, which means we call out for help to our pill bottles on a semi-regular basis! I did a font similar to the 90s D.A.R.E campaign font as a little joke. Watercolor and ink on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, September 2025

Pantheon of Venuses

A selection of prehistory Venus figurines. I did this as an extra little project to look at making a prehistory sticker sheet! I selected some stone figurines with varying body types, including the most famous Venus of Willendorf. Watercolor on 140lb coldpress watercolor paper, September 2025
