Happy June and happy Pride! It's finally been warm enough (not hitting freezing overnight) and sunny enough to call it summer. I've got some new things in the shop to tell you about, some for Pride and some just for kicks. I've also got a Pride promotion going on in my shop all month! The Color in Focus this month is: Hooker's green! A classic joke color because of the word "hooker" it's actually been an essential color in an artist's palette since it was created by William Hooker, a botanical artist, in the late 1800s to capture the intense green of flora. I'm excited to play with this one! For the Apple Pie of my Eye, Gimme S'more, One in a Melon, and Top Banana Tiers we have a sticker that I'm sure expresses a lot of our neurodivergent friends' work ethics. As we head into Pride month I know you all know how important the continued warmth you put into the world is. As a queer artist I look to support my fellow queer community, out or not, and appreciate the support I get from others everyday. Remember that even in a world growing harsher, our small acts make it a bit softer for the people who need it.
