It's not gonna be May because May is now here! The snow and ice is finally melting here and it's been warm enough out I can leave my window open. It's what we call break-up here, where all the ice breaks away and leaves the entire city covered in a thick layer of brown-gray dust. It means spring and summer come next! I always have more energy in the summer thanks to the infamous midnight sun so hopefully that will translate directly to my art and I can work on adding a bunch of new prints and stickers to the shop! I'm working on adding five sticker designs and four prints to my shop so you can look forward to those soon!
The Color in Focus this month is: Lamp Black! I'm excited to get going on this one. I've got some fun ideas to show everyone that black isn't a boring color!
For the Apple Pie of my Eye, Gimme S'more, One in a Melon, and Top Banana Tiers we have a sticker that's out of this world: a cup of galaxy boba! This sticker has a star shimmer holo laminate to add a little bit of extra sparkle to the sky.
For the Sodalightful, Gimme S'more, One in a Melon, and Top Banana Tiers there's a print of a tasty looking jar of prickly pear limeade. I love prickly pear drinks and I really wanted to play with the glass label on ball mason jar.

This month's order bonus sticker is a fig cupcake! This one I painted digitally to test out some watercolor brushes. I'd love to be able to get a similar watercolor texture as I do for my physical paintings. I think this turned out lovely!
